EFT Externship Overview
The Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship is the entry point for developing competence in the EFT model and is recognized internationally by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Our four‑day training, offered through the North Carolina Community for EFT, provides a rich, immersive introduction to the theory, practice, and clinical applications of EFT for couples, families, and individuals.
Led by ICEEFT‑Certified Trainers, the Externship blends teaching, clinical observation, and experiential practice to help participants understand how attachment science shapes relationship distress—and how therapists can guide partners toward deeper emotional connection and secure bonding.Consider using this if you need to provide more context on why you do what you do. Be engaging. Focus on delivering value to your visitors.
